Trail of Satan ~ A Novelization

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

I have decided that I will be turning The Trail of Satan into a novelization and Mitch Penman has been appointed to be heavily involved with this project. I am more excited than anyone can imagine. Not only am I still doing the script and hopefully it will become a film, now it's going to be an actual book. That means more sex and gore then the script. I will not hold anything back. 

The Trail of Satan is going to get bigger and better then ever!!!

Synopsis for the book:

"In the fall of 1985, Mitch, the lead singer of the death metal band, Fire and Brimstone committed suicide in the name of Satan.

30 years later, a group of friends heads out into the woods for some sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.

However, the fun soon turns to terror when they play a CD of Fire and Brimstone's last performance, which brings Mitch back from his unholy slumber and he's mad as hell.

Death metal has a whole new meaning."

New Character Added

I am very excited to say that The Trail of Satan has a new character added to the script. The character's name is Sammi, who is a rocker and is the first one to come face to face with Mitch. His death scene is quite memorable and a lot of fun to write.

The character was written especially for Mitch Penman to portray in the movie and I wanted his interaction with the killer to be quite physical and wicked.

As I finally finish The Trail of Satan, I will update everyone with any news that I come across. There are so many ideas I have for you guys, so stay tuned.....

A Death Metal Trilogy

The Trail of Satan is officially going to be written into a trilogy. This is a huge project that I am really excited about. There's going to be a lot of gore that you won't believe. A synopsis for the trilogy is posted below.


THE TRAIL OF SATAN

 In 1985, Mitch, the lead singer of the band Fire and Brimstone, commited suicide in the name of Satan. 30 years later, Todd invites his friends out into the woods for some sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. When they play a CD that was given to them by a mysterious stranger, Mitch returns to raise some hell and to claim his final sacrifice.


BACK FROM HELL: THE TRAIL PF SATAN 2

When a local death metal band decide to do a live performance of the mysterious and satanic, Fire and Brimstone, Mitch returns angrier and more powerful then ever.


MITCH'S METAL SHOWDOWN: THE TRAIL OF SATAN 3

When a young woman resurrects Mitch, the long dead singer of Fire and Brimstone, he continues on with his bloody reign of terror. However, she has plans of her own, which could bring Mitch down once and for all. Has Mitch finally met someone that could destroy him? It's death metal 'til the very end.

First Look

Mitch Penman had the distinct pleasure of being the one and only to take a look at some scenes from The Trail of Satan script. Here is his awesome first review!


"Kristy has given me the privilege to be the 1st to read the opening scene in The Trail of Satan script. Let me tell everyone, this is going to be one AWESOME movie. I could actually see myself watching this scene play out as I was reading it. I can assure everyone, that if the rest of the script is as good as what I've read so far, (and I'm sure it will be) this will be a total hit among all horror fans far and wide. Kristy is the next big thing to come in the horror genre. She has gotten my full attention with what I've read. I've also had the privilege to read 2 other scenes in the script. The sickness is overflowing. So get your vomit bags ready. You're gonna need them. I will have more to come at another time."

One Scene Left

That's right!!!! I have one scene left to write until I can say that the first draft of The Trail of Satan is done and this is so exciting as Mitch Penman will be involved with this scene. Not too much else to say at this point, but be on the lookout for more updates....

Almost Complete

I am very happy to say that The Trail of Satan is nearly completed and you won't believe just how extreme this script is. I never knew when I first started that so many people would be excited about this project, but the support is massive and that is so thrilling. Plus, turning it into a trilogy is a huge deal.

Once the script is done, I will update this site....

A Trilogy

That's right folks! The Trail of Satan will be written into 3 parts entitled "The Trail of Satan: A Death Metal Trilogy". I promise to bring out the ultimate gorefest to all of you that you won't soon forget. As soon as I have an entire update with more info, I will post it here, so stay tuned!

A New Ending

I am very happy to announce that myself and fellow Gates of Gore staff member, Mitch Penman will be collaborating on the final (and newly added) scene of The Trail of Satan to create something that will be incredibly fucked up and no one will ever forget.

Let's all get excited as the gore continues to flow....

New Character Development

Just when I thought all the characters have been locked in The Trail of Satan, there will be a new character that will be written in just to get extremely butchered. I am excited about this as more gore will flow....stay tuned!

A Possible Lead

As I am writing the script for The Trail of Satan, I came across an independent actor that just might be perfect as the lead for the movie. Once it's all done and I find the best person to direct it, I will make this happen. Not going to reveal who it is, but stay tuned.....

Making An Impact

The Trail of Satan is already making an impact on people. I am still in the writing process, halfway done, and I have the best people behind me, making this happen and helping along the way. However, there are some that are already offended by the subject matter and that is so awesome. It's definitely the reaction I wanted, but surprised that it's still so early. I can't wait until it's made and see what kind of impact it makes then. Stay tuned....

The History and Synopsis

Gates of Gore founder, Kristy Langford, is currently writing the ultimate gorefest titled, THE TRAIL OF SATAN.

Here's a little story of how this came about: Back in 2004, I wrote a short script titled, THE TRAIL OF SATAN. The original concept was about a group of friends who venture out into the woods and one of them gets possessed by Satan and goes on a killing spree. It was a fun ride, especially for my first script, and for those that got to read it, loved it, which made me happy.

It's now 2015 and I never thought I'd even want to do anymore writing, but I has the best inspiration and THE TRAIL OF SATAN is being revised....with the concept going in a totally different direction. There is one scene in my original script that will be included that just kicked ass.

THE TRAIL OF SATAN is about sex, drugs, death metal and the ultimate bad ass killer. It's an unapologetic piece for the gorehound in all of you.

The Official Artwork

The Trail of Satan is still in the writing process, but thanks to the wonderful Mary Goff, she created artwork that is so unbelievable that I plan on using it for everything Trail of Satan, including DVD's and Blu ray's once the film gets made.

Mary is also doing some new artwork that is going to kick major ass and once it's done, I will reveal it right here.
